Question by jewel1988: for all business owners that have the credit card machines how do u go about voiding transaction.?
i was wrongly charged at it was voided. but what do u do on the small machines to void.

Generally a debit would be ran to void a credit and a credit would be ran to void a debit.

Once this is done, you can them proceed with the transaction as you normally would.

For accounting purposes, to void a single transaction would not be recommended.
